Accessibility statement
CinderWatch is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which also align with the expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we've done
- Semantic HTML landmarks and a "skip to content" link for screen-reader and keyboard users.
- All interactive elements are operable by keyboard, with clearly visible focus indicators.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA for text and interface components.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive tech.
- Form fields with associated labels and status messages announced via live regions.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting — ambient animation is disabled when you prefer reduced motion.
- Responsive layouts that work down to small screens and support text resizing.
Ongoing work
This site is in active development. As we add features, we test against assistive technologies and aim to fix accessibility issues promptly. If something here doesn't work for you, that's a bug we want to know about.
Tell us about a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at access@cinderwatch.example (replace with your real address before launch). Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll work to resolve it and provide the information you need in an accessible way.
